Louis Bar and Lounge at The Gansevoort brings in a pretty chic crowd. That’s primarily because The Gansevoort is one of the top hotels in the South Beach. But what we like most about Louis is the décor. It’s basically the French Revolution on acid… yes, that’s the only way to describe this place. But while you may think that it’s only for A-listers and the snobby likes of the city, Friday night offers a unique party that brings in a bit of a different crowd. Now, they may not be the popped collar types, but lets just say it’s more of the fashionably inclined.
Every Friday night, Louis hosts their Misfit Fridays party, an event that brings in a sexy, fashionable crowd that takes this party to another level. But, with the recent opening of Wall at the W Hotel, you never know what kind of impact it will have on this venue. Looks like the next few months are going to be an interesting time for these two places.
