It has been confirmed today that The Ice Palace Film Studios, also known as one of the best venues during Winter Music Conference, has OFFICIALLY taken back its West Building. While it may not seem like big news to any of you, perhaps this will clear things up: their West Building just so happens to be Karu & Y, a popular nightlife venue in the city. There’s absolutely no need to worry about this, since all parties that were to take place at Karu & Y are still scheduled. Ice Palace has taken over the building with plans to turn it into a special events facility servicing large events.
“We feel there’s a read need for elegant and flexible space where people can produce creative events of all kinds and strive to be an effective resource for South Florida’s tourism and advertising industry,” says Ice Palace Film Studios owner, Eugene Rodriguez. “The local community is in dire need of a space of this nature.”
