Top Irish Pubs in Los Angeles

Just in time for St. Patrick's Day, Clubplanet has put together a list of the top places to cheers to St. Patrick with an Irish Car Bomb and do a Celtic dance with a green beer in hand. From the first Irish pub in Los Angeles to the first back in business after that horrible American time, Prohibition, there is a pub for every type of Irishman, or Irish enthusiast in Los Angeles.

Casey's Irish Bar & Grille
613 S Grand Avenue
Los Angeles, CA 90017
Walk into Casey's Irish Bar & Grille and feel transported to a much more interesting time when men and women threw back pints of Guinness while discussing secret business in the tall mahogany booths. Casey's is a more upscale Irish Pub than the others on the list, and situated in Downtown LA, this theme attracts big crowds. But, the real attraction at this top Irish pub is the extensive list of Irish spirits. The Whiskey list alone is divided into three categories: Middleton Distillery, Bushmills Distillery and Cooley Distillery. There is Guinness, Smethwick’s Irish Red Ale and many other Irish suds on tap and with a great daily happy hour from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. and until 11 p.m. on Mondays, it's easy to attack the menu without breaking the bank. We think an Irish Coffee is the perfect way to begin a Sunday morning, and with a top Irish pub like this in the neighborhood, the mornings are looking up.

Tom Bergin's Tavern
840 S Fairfax Avenue
Los Angeles, CA 90036
Your really can't do better than the first Irish pub in Los Angeles which is also in an Irish-style cottage. Serving Guinness around their horseshoe bar since 1949, Tom Bergin's Tavern is a celebration to all things Irish in America. Shamrocks freckle the walls next to framed pictures of Pat O'Brien and Bing Crowsby, original customers of Tom Bergin's. Happy hour runs weekdays 4pm to 7pm but the real deal is their Ireland meets L.A. special The Tavern's Treat for Two: Irish Spring Rolls, Two Berginburgers and a chilled bottle of Dom Perginon

Molly Malone’s Irish
575 S Fairfax Avenue
Los Angeles, CA 90036

Live music and rich history make Molly Malone's a very popular Irish pub in Los Angeles. One of the first pubs to be back in business after that horrible time in American history, Prohibition, Molly's throws a party almost every night of the week with great drink specials and live music like Celtic bands! Come on, everyone loves a little Celtic band action now and again. No cover, happy hour and a rocking jukebox help to make Molly Malone's one of the top Irish pubs in Los Angeles.

Brennan's Pub
4089 Lincoln Boulevard
Marina del Rey, CA 90292

Located in Marina Del Rey, Brennan's Pub is known for being both a rowdy Irish pub and fun-filled home to competitive turtle racing. Thursday nights are all about turtles, turtles, turtles so pick your little guy wisely, give him a pep talk, and send him on his way to glory! There is always something going on at Brennan's, from Come Together, their Beatles tribute night, to '70s rock cover bands. With no cover charge, great food and a laid back but rowdy crowd, you will feel transported to the rolling green hills of Ireland in no time.
