Wednesday nights in Miami can be a little tricky when it comes to nightlife. While some areas in the city could be going off with great parties, some other areas are a bit more quiet until the weekend arrives. The 8th Street area, commonly known as Little Havana to many locals, usually didn’t have too much going on, until Oscar G. decided to team up with one of Miami’s up and coming DJ/producers and host a weekly event at one of the most beloved nightlife venues in the city.
That’s right people, Tropicasa is still going strong with the infamous Oscar G. and Lazaro Casanova. This and every Wednesday night the two get together at Hoy Como Ayer to serve up afro-Cuban beat-infused house. The party has been bringing in a bigger crowd week by week. At one point we thought there was going to be a chance of a venue change, but it looks like the party has solidified itself here.
