It makes sense why one would assume that a school like USC, which values communal partying as a way to promote school spirit, would have streets lined with fun bars. This, however, could not be further from the truth. The area around USC is pretty desolate on the nightlife front, forcing students to travel to Downtown LA for a good time or just heading, albeit unenthusiastically, to the 901 Bar or as USC kids call it “The Nine O.”
Now, USC kids can rejoice because The Lab, a gastro-pub in the USC area, has debuted a brand new drink menu this week featuring inexpensive and “lab-themed” cocktails. The new menu will feature martinis for under $10 and $8 cocktails like the Algae (Stoli Blueberri, Blue Curacoa, lemonade and sprite).
