Top Fancy Parties in Las Vegas

So you're getting older now and the idea of going to wild clubs on the weekends and throwing keg parties just doesn't work for you anymore. If you still want to be active in the social scene, catching a smaller weekly Vegas party is an excellent way to go out and not have to deal with the long Saturday night lines and hassles. These parties require that you dress your best, so if you're looking to don something other than jeans and a t-shirt, here are our reccomendations for the top "fancy" weekly parties in Las Vegas.

Top Fancy Party in Las Vegas: Godspeed Mondays @ Foundation Room
3950 S. Las Vegas Boulevard
This exclusive venue resembles an exotic, old estate house. Located at the top of the Mandalay Bay Hotel, Foundation Room is not always open to the general public, but go on a Monday night after 11 p.m.  and enjoy its “Godspeed” after-hours party. As part of the House of Blues, this space is usually reserved for private events - and you even have to take a private elevator to the 43rd floor to get there. While up up in the clouds, take advantage of the breathtaking views of Las Vegas from a unique vantage point.

Top Fancy Party in Las Vegas: Madame Mondays @ Cathouse
3900 S. Las Vegas Boulevard
The 19th Century bordello-esque establishment is a restaurant by day and a nightclub by night. Head over to Cathouse at the Luxor on Monday night for their famous “Madame Mondays” party, where you can rage to the sounds of the best new house music while their ever-so-sexy bartenders serve up Triple Orgasms and French Kiss drinks. This party is one of the sexiest locals nights in Las Vegas because all of the staff wears their custom-made lingerie to work. Somehow, though, the party keeps a classy and upscale club vibe. There's also Vanity Wednesdays, featuring house music, and Stiletto Thursdays, featuring everything from hip hop to electro. Take your pick.

Top Fancy Party in Las Vegas: Kouture Tuesdays @ Krave
3663 S. Las Vegas Boulevard

Krave is the first and only club on the strip dedicated to an alternative VIP experience, with a theatrical circus and castle themed interior. Picture practically naked guys on stilts wearing cowboy chaps, go-go boys and girls dancing on a center stage, and aerialists dangling from the ceiling. Just add dirty dance and hip hop beats and it sounds like true entertainment to me. Besides hosting some of the world’s best DJs, it’s also home to Kouture Tuesdays, a fashion event with giveaways, drink specials and mannequin wars. If you're into hot bodies, male or female, and into hot fashion, Krave is where you want to be on Tuesday nights.

Top Fancy Party in Las Vegas: Confession Sundays @ Tabu
3799 S. Las Vegas Boulevard

Tabu in the MGM Grand is a chic ultra lounge that offers the cure for the common lounge. Their answer to your prayers is "Confession," featuring resident DJ Shift, on Sunday nights. Enjoy soulful house music from DJ Tony Arzadon while you relax on their funky furniture - a euphoric environment for all. Have fun with tarot cards and the photo booth, at least this way you can remember your night if you happen to go a little overboard with the beverages.
