While some venues give patrons a hard time at the doors in an attempt to seem more exclusive, these Vegas venues are the real deal. Their doors are always packed with multitudes of anxious club-goers not only for being one of the hippest spots in town, but because their service is also truly unparalleled. Check out Sin City’s toughest doors that are definitely worth the wait.
Toughest Door in Las Vegas: XS at Encore
3131 S Las Vegas Blvd
Since opening not too long ago on the Vegas Strip, XS has quickly become one of the hottest clubs in all the sinful land. We hear bouncers there are pretty fair, but their line starts forming as early as 8:45 p.m., so plan accordingly if you’re set on attempting to get in. No cut-sies or you will promptly be escorted off the premises! Taking the concept of swank to a whole new level, XS features a breathtaking staircase and a chandelier directly over the dance floor. Your heart will race with excitement-overload when you see their floating couches directly on the pool, which is also surrounded by lush private cabanas and tables for a voyeuristic outdoor seating. Their stunning European pool even glows after dark, but just be careful not to get too close once you’re intoxicated.
Toughest Door in Las Vegas: Tryst at Wynn
3131 S Las Vegas Blvd
If you want to maximize the odds of a “Hangover” night in Vegas, your best bet is to start off at Haze. Being one of the most opulent clubs in Vegas has its consequences though- cattle herd lines. Guys should be forewarned not to even think about showing up at the door without a substantial amount of girls accompanying them. One of the first things you’ll see that will make you forget the hour you just stood waiting to get in is the breath-taking, 90-foot waterfall in the lagoon right off the dance floor. Like most Vegas clubs, if you’re not willing to shed a pretty penny for drinks, some pre-gaming might be a good idea too. Their service is geared towards elite clientele and the drink prices and numerous VIP tables make that very clear.
Toughest Door in Las Vegas: Haze at Aria
3780 S Las Vegas Blvd
You know how people always say “the early bird catches the worm”, well at this Vegas hot spot you might still have a hard time catching anything attention from the bouncers. The hazy fog effects, as the name suggests, givse an intimate feeling to the tables around the perimeter. Your sense of perception and reality is challenged when “surprise” performers come out on stilts wearing modernized Renaissance costumes done Vegas style. Their oversized hanging props over the entry draw your eye up the stairwell to the mezzanine level where VIP patrons get a birds-eye view of the action down below. Their cutting edge laser show and sound system only add to the epic scene at Haze.
Toughest Door in Las Vegas: Vanity at The Hard Rock
4455 Paradise Road
At this sensual playground, it’s all about you- once you can get in, that is. Having recently opened their doors on New Year’s Eve 2010, every Vegas club head is beating down their doors. The inside of this venue resembles an eclectic jewel box with glittery ceilings and colorful lights. Featuring a $1 million floor-to-ceiling chandelier, the 14,000 square foot venue boasts two marble bars, a sunken dance floor, 50 intimate VIP booths, and an outdoor terrace with five cabanas overlooking the Strip. As Las Vegas’ newest club on the strip, they are quickly and steadily catching up to the competition.
Toughest Door in Las Vegas: Rain at The Palms
4321 W. Flamingo Road
Located in the adult Disneyland known as the Palms Hotel and Casino, Rain is the only place on the Strip where the pyrotechnics are just as hot as the go-go dancers. Anywhere you go in the Palms is almost guaranteed to be a good time, but this is the Queen Bee. If you can’t get in here, then you can settle for Moon or the Playboy Club. One of the most impressive tricks Rain has up their sleeve that drops jaws every time is the center rig that shoots out fire over the crowd. It’s a must see that you can brag about to your friends that didn’t get in because of the daunting line, but don’t get too close to the middle if you like to rock a lot of hairspray. For the VIPs, there’s a choice of gladiator-arena-style arranged seating in tiers for a sense of community between the VIP areas, including skyboxes, water booths, private cabanas, and traditional tables.
