With the craziness of New Year’s Eve finally coming to an end, the nightlife scene in Miami is now focusing on the New Year and what they’ll change to attract even more to their places of business. Karu & Y is one venue in Miami that’s never really had a hard time filling in their space, but they’ve also had some really created ideas and talent bookings that have helped. This Friday night they’ll be presenting another unique event that should bring in a thick crowd.
This Friday night Karu & Y Ultra Lounge presents Mardi Gras Miami 2010, an event featuring battle DJ Immortal and DJs Hurricane, Double R and Dan Diaz. There’s plenty of talent in the booth on this night, but we’re not too familiar with their sound or following. There’s no telling how the crowd will receive the music, but if it’s a big crowd, expect the DJs to read what they’re really looking for.
