The Ultimate Winter Hot Spot: Hudson Terrace NYC

The Ultimate Winter Hot Spot: Hudson Terrace NYC

Brought to us by the same nightlife impresarios behind the Village Pourhouse and Sidebar, Hudson Terrace is a snazzy bi-level venue that caters to everyone. The space, which was once a horse stable, has been transformed into one of the city’s best rooftop lounges.

Nominated by Paper Magazine for Best Club, Hudson Terrace has become the venue of choice for some unforgettable celebrations. It defies convention with an all-season roof deck built atop temperature-regulated mahogany flooring.  It's an escapist's dream, where Japanese willows, evergreens and walls of flowers guard cabanas situated along the roof's perimeter.

I know what you’re thinking, it doesn’t sound blizzard proof. However, Hudson Terrace does have a retractable roof that will keep the snow on the outside. To prove that Hudson Terrace is still a hot spot during the winter, they are throwing one of the best New Year’s Eve parties in the city. Featuring a six-hour open bar full of top shelf liquor, this is the place to ring in 2010. General admission tickets start at $160 and VIP tickets are also available.

The Hudson Terrace Lobby features a room to gather your group together before ascending into the gala. This is where you present your tickets, have your photograph taken, and board the elevator for The Salon.

The Salon, situated on the second floor of Hudson Terrace, is a mélange of old and new. Hand-hewed wooden beams from vintage vessels were reclaimed to construct the streamlined edges of this modern venue. Two Video Chandeliers draped in Swarovski Crystal elegantly enhance the mood atop the ceiling.

The Garden Terrace patio partially tented and heated for your comfort. This private garden is located on the Salon level and has the perfect view of the Hudson River.

The Rooftop Garden Lounge is the ultimate urban all-season rooftop venue. Set upon temperature regulated mahogany flooring containing a Glass enclosed circumference with a foray to the Manhattan Fire-Works Filled Sky and overlooking the Hudson River. The Garden Lounge is complete with a centralized fireplace, covered by a winterized tent.

Hudson Terrace is the ultimate New York hotspot. Because it was rated the #1 nightclub in New York, every visit will be unforgettable.
