The genre of music commonly referred to as ‘Dub,’ has recently been getting a lot of attention. Here in Miami, The Vagabond’s SHAKE!!! Thursday night weekly party is one of the most successful in the city, and their talent booking solely focuses on dub acts. This Saturday night local production group, Arcade Miami, bring in a familiar name in the dub genre to a club in Miami that hasn’t been putting on as many events as they previously did, but it’s still a local favorite.
This Saturday night White Room hosts Rusko, an LA-based dub DJ/Producer whose mixes have been getting a lot of buzz on MySpace. White Room hasn’t been cranking out as many homerun events as they usually do, and we’re not sure if it’s because one of the biggest weekly parties in the city moved out, but this event should definitely bring in a good sized crowd.
