JT and Timbo go together like peas and carrots. Although Shock Value II was "ehh" in my book, there was one standout track, "Carry Out" that I can't stop bumping; and the duo have their signature beats and stellar vocals tagged all over it.
The pair was spotted at the Shock Value II CD release party at Hudson Terrace last Tuesday. The party was hot (predictably so) and brought out musicians, comedians, A-listers and the like. Some notable names from the 200-person guestlist included Carlos Beltran, Brett Ratner, Ozzie Smith and Eddie Murray. Ani Quinn and Freestyle Steve kept the crowd bumpin' with their stylish mixes while Neuro and 901 Silver Tequila kept the party flowing.
Besides the main man of the evening, Timbaland, another aspect of the party took center stage: the new retractable rooftop at Hudson Terrace.
