Welcome to the Technicolor world of Juliet, a new restaurant and lounge that has taken the Chelsea area by storm. Behind the big black door lies a magical place designed by the same people who brought us the first eco-friendly club Greenhouse.
Like Greenhouse, Juliet hosts the same kind of exclusive, swanky parties except with more of a restaurant vibe. A full dinner and dessert menu is served until 11 p.m. featuring Mediterranean-inflected dishes created by celebrity chef Todd English. Some of the favorites include mezes, skewers, and shawarmas. Reservations are definitely necessary.
Once the kitchen is closed, the space transforms into a proper lounge and nightclub full of bottle service and waitresses. Between the massive floral arrangements, the reflective tiled floors and the wall to ceiling beams, Juliet seems to resemble a disco ball. The raised VIP lounge turns into a spontaneous dance rumpus. The purple and blue lights leave for an intimate setting while cozying up in the plush booths.
For a club that has recently opened its doors, business could not be better. Attracting the typical Chelsea clubgoer crowd, Juliet is bound to have a line out the door every night. They made its entry into the world by throwing a few insider events to create maximum buzz, such as the launch of Stolichnaya Vodka’s Gala Applik.
Juliet was also the chosen venue for Rihanna’s album release party. With her album, titled Rated R finally being released, Rihanna decided to celebrate at Manhattan’s newest edition to the nightlife circuit.
Come out and party like the celebrities at Chelsea’s newest hot spot.
