There has been another Cahuenga Corridor casualty; this time the club closing is Bar Delux. Adolfo Suaya made his art-deco jazzy club into the place to be for fun dance parties on Friday nights featuring guest DJs like the Chainsmokers from New York and fashion shows to entertain the crowd and spotlight emerging talent.
Adolfo Suaya is moving on from the nightlife industry after selling sucessfull Bar Delux to Alex Levine in order to devote his attention to other areas of hospitality including restaurants and hotels. Two notable probjects to look forward to are restaurants Osaka and the Surly Goat.
You have until February to get one last night in before Levin begins remodeling and creates a new restaurant/lounge. Bar Delux has been open for about a year which is a lifetime for Los Angeles, especially in the Cahuenga Corridor where just recently Capitol City, Wonderland and Empire debuted.
