Halloween has arrived and nothing says “you better get dressed up and WORK IT” like a model throwing a Halloween bash. Heidi Klum just gave birth to a baby girl, but she isn’t letting down all you gools and gals - Heidi will be bringing the party to Los Angeles for this year’s Halloween extravaganza.
This is a girl that does Halloween justice! After almost ten years of success, Heidi is now known as the Queen of Halloween. Last year, Klum and her hubby Seal took over 1 Oak in New York City’s trendy Chelsea neighborhood to play host to costumed celebrities. And what celebrities exactly got in on the fun? Pink, Mickey Rourke, Alyssa Milano and many more put on their best costumes to party with the Queen and King and drink cocktails mixed with Absolut 100, the event's sponsor.
Last year, the supermodel dressed up as Hindu goddess Kali, a Halloween-appropriate costume as Kali was known to kill many and wear her victims shrunken heads. Now that’s something that you won’t be seeing on Project Runway anytime soon!
This year, Klum, Seal, and the rest of her celebrity entourage will be celebrating the spooky season at a secret new nightclub in West Hollywood. While details on this year’s Halloween bash are hidden from the media, we did discover some of the specialty Halloween cocktails that will be served throughout that night. Ranging from Jack-O-Lanterns to Red Zombies, these drinks were designed to bring out the frightful fun of Halloween with a sophisticated twist. One of the featured cocktails for the night is the Vampire’s Elixir, inspired by the current Twilight craze. Try mixing this sinful treat for your own party-no tricks necessary.
Vampire’s Elixir Recipe
Ingredients
1.5 oz. Raspberry flavored vodka (We used SKYY Infusions Raspberry)
.75 oz. White chocolate liqueur
1 oz. Half and Half
Strawberry syrup
Wax vampire teeth
Preparation
Dress strawberry syrup on the inside and rim of a chilled martini glass. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into martini glass. Garnish with vampire teeth.
