Mondays are an interesting night for you and for Hollywood. Still tired from the weekend but revved up from a busy day at work, you know you want good food and drinks but aren’t ready to go full force at Capitol City or Mi-6. Lucky for you, The Foundry on Melrose has the perfect antidote.
Last night, The James Beard Foundation hosted the L.A. Chef Invitational to celebrate the talented chefs and mixologists of Los Angeles. But the real party began after the 5-course dinner, when the tables were cleared out and the stylish foodies moved in to indulge in hors d’oeuvres by the participating chefs, specialty cocktails and jazz by The Foundry Three! All for only $50.
There was dinner, there were drinks, and there was dancing. The real question was, where were you and when can we do this again? Unfortunately, this was not a weekly event. But, the Foundry on Melrose has recently introduced a night of Latin live jazz, Latin libations and Greenspan’s Gorditas. Your Monday night is looking up!
