Miami’s Top Singles Bars

Let’s face it people, we all love to go out and grab a drink with our friends, but a majority of the time if you are single, you’re looking for someone to share that drink with…not literally obviously. No bar will claim themselves to be a ‘singles’ bar, but all of us know those local haunts where your chances of meeting someone are a lot better than other places. These bars are usually the most lively ones in your area, because if you’re a true single, you gotta make some noise at the bar and can’t keep quiet. Unless you’re one of those shy types, in which case…good luck. To help you guys out in determining some of these bar, we produced a list of the top singles bars in Miami.

The Room
100 Collins Avenue
Miami Beach, FL 33109

One thing you need to know about The Room, is that it once used to be the best place to have a drink with your significant other. It was one of those venues that was a sure hit if you were on a first date. But, everyone in the city seemed to have caught on to it, and now it’s a pretty big hit. Located on the ‘quiet’ side of the beach, The Room is dimly lit and packs out every weekend with couples, however, now with tons of singles. This is a great place to meet someone who’s into a low-key bar that definitely offers that minimal level of intimacy a singles bar needs, another reason why it’s on our list as one of the best singles bars in Miami. You don’t want a place that’s too quiet, because that pretty much ruins your approach.

Monty’s Raw Bar
2550 South Bayshore Drive
Miami, FL 33133

If you live in Miami, then you’ve heard of Monty’s Raw Bar one way or the other. Yes they have great food and drinks here, but if you’ve passed by on a Friday, then you know why it’s on our list as one of the best singles bars in Miami. The Friday happy hour at Monty’s is quite possibly the most popular one in the entire city. There are endless amounts of singles that either stop by after work, or after class, and mingle to the sounds of the DJ, all the while taking advantage of their half off drinks. Here’s a little advice from us, try the PK3, it’s the best drink they have and includes pineapple, rum…rum…yep, and more rum.

Churchill’s Pub Miami
5501 NE 2nd Ave
Miami, FL 33137

Now typically when someone mentions Churchill’s Pub, it sure as hell isn’t intended for romance. But, when if you really want a low-key atmosphere with locals that care about their music, it doesn’t get any better than this. And, believe it or not, this place is definitely full of singles ladies, depending on the band on stage of course. Here you’ll meet the down to earth types, not like many that you’ll come across hanging out at Sobe or downtown. The drink prices are definitely reasonable, and if you happen to hit it off with someone there and the music’s a bit too loud for you, walk over to Sweat Records next door and have their infamous espresso. You’ll thank us later.

Bougainvillea’s
7221 SW 58th Ave.
Miami, FL 33143

It may not be located in the most happening area of the city, but Bougainvillea’s is easily one of the best singles bars in the city. Located near Sunset Place in the Gables, the drinks at Bougainvillea’s are always reasonably priced, and the décor gives it a rustic look, both inside and out. Wednesday nights it’s all about the ladies, seeing as they drink free for the entire night. So, single ladies come out to drink, and guys come out to meet those ladies. It’s a pretty chill atmosphere, with even an option to grab a hookah outside.

Crazy Pianos
3015 Grand Avenue
Miami, FL 33133

This is the newest hot spot in Coconut Grove, and as soon as the doors opened up here it’s been a hit amongst visitors and locals alike. This is the only Crazy Pianos in the U.S., a chain crossing the Atlantic from Europe. Write your song request on a napkin and hand it to the piano man, he’ll play anything you want. The drinks here are stellar house made concoctions that range from their fruity ‘Hurricane’ to their chocolate shots. Singles are always hanging out at this place, and the atmosphere is perfect for a chat.
