One of the most successful open-format DJs and socialites in the U.S., DJ AM (also known as Adam Goldstein) was found dead in his New York City apartment today. The circumstances of his death are still unclear.
His rep has recently released a statement saying, “ Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein was found deceased this afternoon in his New York City apartment. The circumstances surrounding his death are unclear. Out of respect for his family and loves ones, please respect their privacy at this time.”
Sources state that his body was found at about 5:20 p.m., and that drug paraphernalia was found in his apartment as well. This shocking news comes nearly one year after his near-fatal plane crash that also involved Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker.
