Miami’s Top House Music Clubs

When it comes to music in Miami, everyone knows that the scene is ruled by the DJ, and in the Magic City, the DJ loves house. Miami’s known for having one of the best electronic dance music scenes in the nation, and a prominent one in the world. With clubs packing serious sound systems and some of the best DJs in the world coming into town week in and week out to deliver some very memorable sets. Not to forget, this is where Winter Music Conference takes place every year. So to help you guys out we’ve put together the top house music clubs in Miami.

Club Space
34 NE 11th Street
Miami, FL 33132

When it comes to THE best house party that the city of Miami has to offer, there’s one venue that fits that bill, and it’s the legendary Club Space. Started up nearly a decade ago, Space has hosted the likes of the best DJs in the world, including Paul van Dyk, Erick Morillo, Steve Lawler, Murk, and Deep Dish. There have been endless memories from all of the legendary shows that have taken place at this place. Not only do they pack the best sound system in the city, but they also have The Terrace, a rooftop venue that has fans dancing until the sun creeps up on Downtown Miami. If you’re in Miami, this is one place that you have to go to. It’s only open on Saturday night, so be sure to get in those doors.

Mansion
1235 Washington Avenue
Miami Beach, FL 33139

When it comes to the combination of good house music and a great nightclub in South Beach, one place reigns supreme, and that’s the Opium Group’s Mansion Nightclub. On Saturday nights their house party always packs the house and features names like Bob Sinclar, Roger Sanchez and Deadmau5. If you’ve ever been to any of those parties we just named, then you definitely know what we’re talking about. During Winter Music Conference this place has had some really memorable sets. But you don’t have to wait until March to get a good house here. Just stop by any Saturday night and you’ll be good to go.

SET
320 Lincoln Road
Miami Beach, FL 33139

SET’s is definitely the most exclusive club in South Beach, with elite socialites gracing its doors night in and night out. But on when it comes to their infamous Sunday night party, Sundance, it’s all about the music heads. Don’t get us wrong, its just as exclusive, but everyone who comes in is familiar with the man working the decks. Sexy, sophisticated and chic, Sundance always packs the house. Even though a majority of the crowd still has to wake up early in the morning for their 9 to 5. If you’re on a vacation in Miami, and your flight happens to leave early on Monday morning, we say risk it. Sundance is just that special.

The Electric Pickle
2826 N. Miami Ave.
Miami, FL 33127

This is the newest venue that we have on our list, but it definitely packs a punch when it comes to a good house party. Once known as Circa 28, The Electric Pickle quickly booked some serious electronic talent once they opened up shop. M.A.N.D.Y., Lazaro Casanova and Matthew Dear are just a few names to drop, but it’s the room that gets a lot of attention. Walk up the steps at the Electric Pickle and you’ll go into their EDM room, dark, intimate, and packing a Dynacord sound system. You just can’t get better than that. With that sound system the bass will be punching you in the chest as you slide across the dance floor dancing to the grooves.

Shine
1801 Collins Avenue
Miami Beach, FL 33139

For the common tourist in South Beach, The Shelborne may be one of the best stays on Collins Avenue, but for us, it packs one of the best nightclubs for house music in the entire city. Although they may not bring in talent as frequent as the other clubs on our list, when they do they make a hell of a party out of it. Last Winter Music Conference they had arguably the best lineup out of any other club, and it seems as though the DJ/Producers enjoyed so much then that they’ve insisted on coming back for more. The sound system is killer, the décor is posh and chic, and the service is fantastic. Combine all of those and you have one of the best clubs for house music in Miami.

Nocturnal
50 NE 11th Street
Miami, FL 33132

If there’s one club that could give Club Space some competition in downtown Miami it has to be Nocturnal. Not only do they have their own terrace, but multiple rooms that could bring in multiple big DJ names. On Saturdays and Sundays Nocturnal hosts some of the best house parties in the city. The doors don’t close until the sun comes up on the buildings, so when you’re in you better be ready to party. We were lucky enough to be a part of Richie Hawtin’s party on their rooftop two WMC’s ago, and it was an experience like none other. If you have a chance at checking out any DJ at this venue, we give you the green light to do so.
