It’s 2 a.m., you’re in Vegas and you’re starving. Anything would pretty much taste like heaven at that time, but don’t settle for less. Satisfy those late-night cravings with only the best! Check out one of these late-night bite spots.
First Food and Bar
3325 S. Las Vegas Blvd
If you’ve never heard of gourmet bar food, then you’re missing out big time. After recently opening its doors at the Shoppes on the second level of the Palazzo, First Food and Bar is a modernized version of the NYC original opened in the 90s by famed Executive Chef Sam Demarco. Instead of just bread, enjoy complimentary pretzels along with American classics with a twist. Open 21/7, there’s a DJ that establishes a different mood as the menus change from lunch to dinner to late-night. Mostly he probably just alerts the late-night crowd that the breakfast crowd is about to roll in and maybe it’s time to call it a night already.
Burger Bar
3950 S. Las Vegas Blvd
Nestled in the Mandalay Bay Hotel is this personalized burger joint. Build your own burger starting with Ridgefield farm, Kobe beef or Black Angus beef. Then there are endless amounts of other toppings including bacon, avocado, six kinds of cheeses, prosciutto, chopped scallions and, get this, even anchovies or lobster. Their clever deserts, such as the “sweet burger” made from a thin slab of chocolate (your patty) and a warm doughnut (your bun), will keep you coming back for more. If you’ve never had sweet potato fires, here’s your perfect opportunity to try this delicious treat. Brace yourself for the best tasting burger of your life!
Margaritaville
3555 S. Las Vegas Blvd
This tropically-themed restaurant makes it easy to just drift away to an exotic island and forget all about your worries. But what adds to the sense of relaxation is knowing that when your stomach starts growling you don’t have to go far to enjoy a good, inexpensive meal. There’s nothing better than enjoying a delicious 7-ounce Cheeseburger in Paradise, sipping on a frozen margarita and listening to Jimmy Buffet’s hits in the background. Or is there? Maybe adding conch fritters, sponge cake and key lime pie will do the trick.
PT’s Pub
347 N. Nellis Blvd
With many other locations in Las Vegas, PT’s pub has truly become the go-to neighborhood bar. This Sin City staple is literally on almost every corner. It’s a great place to grab a beer, get some grub and watch the game away from the chaos on the strip. Instead of heading to Denny’s or IHOP after the club, try a more jazzed up menu with dishes such as honey-wheat thin crust pizzas or Cobb salad. For those gluttons on a budget, you can leave here with a full tummy and a not-so-empty wallet. This particular location even has karaoke on Fridays!
Blue Martini
6593 S. Las Vegas Blvd
This part-restaurant, part-bar, part-nightclub is truly unique nightlife scene. Located right off the strip in the Town Square pedestrian mall, this local favorite is ready to stimulate your taste buds with their namesake drink, the Blue Martini, or one of their many other specialty martini choices. Hospitality professionals enjoy a generous nightly discount on food and drinks after 4 p.m. Blue Martini’s amazing tapas food menu will blow you away. Try their scrumptious artichoke dip or margherita flat bread, which is served all night long, while you listen to their live entertainment starting around 8 p.m. or wait for the nightly DJ to start around midnight. Foodie hipsters beware!
