DBTH and Good Night, Mr. Lewis have been going back and forth for a week or so, but is Le Royale really closed? DBTH reports that Le Royale, as we know it, is dead. And their off-the-hook telephone number, leads us to agree. After reportedly serving its final night in operation, this past Saturday, the venue that was once Luke and Leroy, has closed. The venue had been open since December of 2007 and it was a good run, hosting a slew of industry parties and talented musical acts. Crystal Castles, Justice and LA Riots will just have to find somewhere else to play.
