Cavorting around stage while pole dancing in leather shorts are images you’d typically reserve for the Pussycat Dolls…yet Miley Cyrus, the teen queen with an overall wholesome persona seems to be trotting down the same path as Britney Spears, as evidenced by her pole-dancing routine on Disney’s Teen Choice Awards.
Veering away from her bubblegum image, the 16-year-old shocked even the top connoisseurs of pole dancing, including Ed Norwick, General Manager of SCORES, the legendary NYC gentleman’s club. Norwick notes that, “While Miley did show off some skills, we at SCORES cannot encourage this kind of behavior for women under the legal age. If she’d like to come try out in a couple of years, our doors open!”
