With the recent opening of Avenue - Noah Tepperberg’s newest Chelsea venture - neighboring venues like 1 Oak and The Park have experienced quite the competition. But, don’t expect either to be going out of business!
An unnamed nightlife impresario is said to be taking The Park by storm and reinventing the space. Not that The Park is close to lost, as it still has a strong after-work crowd and it hosted the Gen Art Film Festival after-party this past April, but we couldn’t be happier for the place. The park boasts five rooms and a capacity that sits above 1,000; it would be a shame for this space to be wasted.
Owned by Sean Macpherson and Eric Goode; we are excited to see who they’ve made fast friends with!
