Inside of a century-old former iron foundry, Brooklyn Bowl is the borough's new environmental fist that the NY Times has reported to be opening this week! A specific date has not yet been released, but the company promises soon; very soon!
As part of its mission to operate in an environmentally responsible way, Brooklyn Bowl was built according to the standards of the United States Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program. A state-of-the-art sound and video system show concert films and the comfort-food menu created by the Blue Ribbon restaurant treats the pro-green bowlers to more than just a bowling adventure. We might make it out to Brooklyn, after all.
