In a video recently released by gossip blogger Perez Hilton, he accuses the Black Eyed Peas posse of assaulting him outside of a nightclub in Toronto, Canada. In town as a presenter for the MuchMusic Video Awards, after attempting to call the police after the incident, he took his argument to Twitter, posting several tweets in the following order:
- “I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.”
- “I spooke to my lawyer. I really need to talk to the authorities. Please come to the SoHo Met Hotel. Have called the police. Need them here.”
- The Toronto plice are here now. Thank you. Please stop calling them.”
This morning Will.I.Am posted his own online video making a statement and telling his side of the story. He claims that Fergie approached Perez Hilton at Ultra, a club which held an after-party for the award show, and where Will.I.Am was the special guest DJ. Will.I.Am says that Perez disrespected Fergie, in which he then approached Perez and simply asked him never to write about his band again.
However, in Perez’s video he claims that the producer/rapper was extremely hostile and confrontational when he approached him. Outside of the venue he claims that Will.I.Am approached him yet again, but this time that their manager, Polo Molina, punched him in the face two to three times. While Will.I.Am claims that a random fan struck Perez Hilton, the gossip blogger lashed out at him in his video stating that “God knows that it was not a random fan that hit me.”
