The Bacardi B-Live 2009 Tour swept New York City with a stop at M2 Ultra Lounge on Wednesday, June 17th. Clubplanet took in the action from M2’s second level loft, where bottles flowed freely and specialty Bacardi cocktails treated the crowd as royalty.
As if the libations weren’t party enough, the stage, designed by multimedia environment company, Moment Factory, was modeled after an old-school boom box. It illuminated the not-so-typically bare dance floor and served as a set for the 5 performing music acts.
The party had a sluggish start, but began to rise once newcomer and a hot one at that, Drop the Lime, hit the stage. From then on, it was smooth sailing. And we mean, smooth. DJ Jazzy Jeff, A-Trak and DJ AM brought us home. Or should we say, back to the office Thursday morning, wearing yesterday’s clothes.
