When to Go All Out: Friday Night vs. Saturday

When to Go All Out: Friday Night vs. Saturday

Party people everywhere have this dilemma, Fin du semaine lovers loathe making this decision: Which day of the weekend is best for all-out partying?

If your life involves sitting in a room watching the clock’s second hand relentlessly complete its round minute-after-minute, freedom bells ring on Friday night.

There is nothing like driving over to your bar of choice to drown your weekly bothers in a delectable cocktail. Drink until it is all okay. After a week of hard work, you deserve it.

And if that isn’t enough of a reason, we have something else that may persuade you: happy hour. Because times are tough for customers, many bars have stretched happy hour specials from Monday through Friday to pick-up more costumers, so you can take advantage of some of your city’s best 2 for 1’s and reduced drink prices.

For those who discriminate on Friday night because you think the club scene is not as hip as Saturday’s, we have news for you.

Although there are probably fewer people on the street, party people who are in the loop know very well which clubs are poppin’ off on Friday, and those of you who don’t simply check back with us, select your city and click on “Events.” There you can find some of the best Friday night entertainment to suit your party mood and palate.

Winding down in front of a drink or two after a week of stress may actually beneficial to your health if you avoid binge drinking, according to doctors at HealthCare Magic. It all depends on the level of stress your work imposes in your life. In fact, there are cases in which going out right after work can bring even more fatigue and stress to a person. Sometimes it is best to be well-rested before you start to party.

If your party preparations start six to eight hours before the actual event, then Saturday night is when you should choose to go all out.

Get creative in your pre-party routine. If spas, hair salons and malls sound too mundane for you, add teeth whitening kiosks, tanning and pre-party arm workouts at the gym, á la guido. Try executing your routine with a friend, for a couple of laughs can turn into a lifelong memory.

Because more people roam the streets on Saturday night than any other night of the week, make sure you know where to go and plan ahead of time.

Look for club guestlists and event tickets, and book them ahead of time.

If you follow our logic, picking a day in which to hold nothing back should be a breeze. And if you still can’t decide, party on both Friday and Saturday night equally.  We just hope you don’t have to go to church on Sunday.
