Miami Weeklies Take a Hit in the Summer

One of the oddest characteristics about nightlife in Miami is that in the summer, things seem to die down a bit. Strange isn’t it? Instead of the parties going into an all new high, much like other markets, things in Miami get a little dull, but at the same time this is great. This actually means that clubs have to get even more creative with their party programming, instead of opting for the same residents, they’re known to look outside the city a bit more.

Although weekly parties like Back Door Bamby at The Vagabond and Saturdays at Club Space keep bringing in a consistent crowd, there are other venues that are having a tougher time. One guest that these clubs primarily rely on are the tourists. While locals know the ins and outs of the nightlife circuit, tourists are always looking for any place where they can let loose.
