Miami's Best Places to Dine and Dance

Miami's Best Places to Dine and Dance

There are two things that a majority of nightlife goers enjoy, a good meal, followed by a good dance to digest (the drinks are pretty much a given). Thankfully nightlife entrepreneurs noticed this long ago and decided to put the two together, creating nightlife hybrids that give guests the chance to come in to dine, only to turn the venue into a nightlife hotspot with drinks and dancing. If you’ve never actually been to one of these places, we suggest heading to one soon. Luckily for you, Clubplanet has put together some of the best places to dine and dance in Miami.

#6 Best Place to Dine and Dance in Miami
Hot Tuna
764 Washington Avenue
Miami Beach, FL 33139

Hot Tuna broke out onto the scene early this year, and as soon as they opened up shop the buzz of the establishment spread all over South Beach and even the greater Miami area. The executive chef here used to be over at the Setai, but now he’s serving up some of the best Asian and sushi cuisine you can imagine. Did we mention there’s live entertainment? Super sexy female servers make the night interesting with a few dances, prompting the crowd to join in as well. Although it looks like a restaurant at first glance, let the sun go down and you’ll definitely get a different taste.

#5 Best Place to Dine and Dance in Miami
Santo
430 Lincoln Road
Miami Beach, FL 33139

Lincoln Road is known to have its fair share of nightlife hideouts, but as soon as you pass by Santo, you know that there’s something special to the place. The venue evokes images of an urban cool and sophisticated atmosphere with its artwork and rock formulations inside. The menu? Well you’re looking at tapas-infused meals here, from their beef flautas to the three cheese chicken quesadilla. But if it’s a real party that you want to follow this up with, than stick around. Whether it’s La Fiesta Thursdays, VIP Fridays or Santo Saturdays, be prepared for their live band to keep the dance floor packed.

#4 Best Place to Dine and Dance in Miami
Hed Kandi Lounge
1200 Washington Avenue
Miami Beach, FL 33139

Yes, they actually refer to themselves as a ‘gastro-lounge.’ But what does that really mean? If you do a little research you’ll find that it’s the “relationship between culture and food.” Interesting, right? The kind of bites you’ll experience at Hed Kandi Lounge are more on the appetizer side, but why stuff yourself when you’re planning to throw down a few drinks and bust a move on the dancefloor? The soundsystem here is remarkable, and if you were part of any of their recent Winter Music Conference events, then you already know why it ranks on our list as one of the best places to dine and dance in Miami.

#3 Best Place to Dine and Dance in Miami
Nikki Beach Club
1 Ocean Drive
Miami Beach, FL 33139

If you’re a local in Miami, then you definitely know where and what Nikki Beach Club is. Now, if you’re a tourist or visitor…nine times out of ten Nikki Beach Club is in your agenda for things to do in the city. This place has it all. Great food, amazing parties, beautiful décor, and not to mention the Atlantic is only yards away. If you’re ever around for Winter Music Conference, make sure that one of the tickets you buy is to Nikki Beach Club. Not only can you get some of the best food on the beach, but the signature mojitos here are insanely delicious.

#2 Best Place to Dine and Dance in Miami
Karu & Y Ultra Lounge
71 NW 14th Street
Miami, FL 33136

We know what you’re already thinking…a club like this in a neighborhood like that? It’s not bad people! This is one of the best nightlife establishments that the city has to offer. It’s a…hybrid if you will, seeing as it is a restaurant/nightclub/lounge/bar. Everything you can imagine in one place. Chef Judith Able created a menu that keeps patrons coming back for more each day. But the great thing is, this isn’t one of those places where you eat while someone next to you is throwing down shots and dancing on their table, the restaurant area is separate from the fun, so you can relax while you eat, then head over and enjoy the many rooms and sounds that one of the best places to dine and dance in Miami has to offer.

#1 Best Place to Dine and Dance in Miami
The Forge
432 W 41st St.
Miami Beach, FL 33109

When it comes to the combination of great dining and dancing, we don’t think there’s a better place to do it than The Forge. Owner Shareef Malnik has always been known to keep this place ranked at the top of everyone’s list. Although it’s closed temporarily at the moment for major renovations, as soon as it opens up again we’re positive that it will blow away the competition. It’s all about fine dining here, but when the lights go down in the city, this is one hell of a place to party in SoBe, which is why it tops the ranks on our list of best places to dine and dance in Miami.
