When it comes to this weekend in Miami, it’s all about the anniversaries. First you have the 9-year extravaganza that Space Miami is about to put on. Then there’s The Vagabond’s one-year anniversary weekend. Although the line outside of Space on Saturday night is going to cover all of 11th Street, The Vagabond’s bringing in a dance music legend that night that should keep their side of downtown Miami pretty damn busy as well.

As part of their special one-year anniversary weekend, this Saturday night Back Door Bamby welcomes in the one and only Jellybean Benitez. If you’re not entirely sure who this is, you can thank him for discovering Madonna and producing a slew of her first hits including “Holiday,” “Borderline,” and “Lucky Star.” It’s going to be interesting to see what he serves up seeing as he grew up DJing during the disco era.
