Last Saturday night at The Palms, the Playboy Playmate of 2009 was announced…drumroll…and the winner was Ida Ljungqvist! This is really a historic moment for the bunny because she is the first African-born playmate in the history of the publication, not to mention she’s also the 50th Playmate of the Year. Along with getting this coveted title, Ida will also receive $100,000 and a brand new car, a Mazda R6 to be exact. During the presentation, Hugh Hefner was on hand with his ladies, making it the first presentation of the award in Las Vegas. There seems to be a lot of controversy concerning Ida’s past, ranging from divorce to affairs and seeking men with money but only time will tell if this things are actually true.
