If you go out as much as we do in Miami, then you’re definitely aware that some of the best and most alternative style parties that you can find in the city are at The Vagabond. Their weekly Back Door Bamby Saturday parties always switch up themes and leave you feeling like you’ve fallen down the rabbit hole once you walk through their doors. On Thursday nights, their SHAKE!!! party is hosted by Que Pasa M.I.A.? crew and last week they decided to reincarnate a party that was pretty successful last year.
If you’re not too familiar with a ‘quince’ party, it’s a typical Latin celebration for a girl who turns 15-years-old, basically the equivalent of what a sweet-16 is, only more of a spectacle with a dress code not being as lax. Last year The Vagabond had a quince themed party, and they brought it back last Thursday night, having it be even more successful than last year’s. Could this possibly become a trendy new weekly? We’ll just have to see.
