We’ve all heard the saying, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.” To us regular folk, this just means that our friends, family, or even boyfriends and girlfriends back home won’t find out about our shenanigans during our vacations. To celebrities, it means that they won’t have their debauchery on the front page of “US Weekly,” however, somehow they still do. Celebrities A-List and beyond flock to Vegas year-round to party, but where do they go? Here are the celebrity hotspots when it comes to nightlife in Las Vegas.

#6 Las Vegas Celebrity Hotspot
XS Nightclub
3131 Las Vegas Blvd.
Las Vegas, NV 89109

XS is located inside Encore, which is also within the walls of the Wynn Las Vegas. If you haven’t caught that XS is read like the word “excess”, you will figure it out once you step foot in this club. The 40,000 square foot nightclub opened in December of last year, and it cost a whopping $100 million to make. The money was well-spent, it is quickly becoming a hot-spot for those who are looking for some fun in Vegas, especially celebrities, with guests ranging from the likes of Playboy playmates from Rachel Gibson and Jenna Jameson with her husband Tito Ortiz, to wholesome teen pop stars like Jesse McCartney. So, whether you’re naughty or nice, Vegas hotspot XS is the place to get your debauchery on…in excess.

#5 Las Vegas Celebrity Hotspot
Privé
3667 Las Vegas Blvd.
Las Vegas, NV 89109

At Privé, Miami meets Vegas. The Opium Group, the masterminds behind Miami’s hottest clubs, opened up their first club in Vegas in 2008. Since then, it’s become “Hollywood’s Miami Playground”, with celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio and the omnipresent Paris Hilton frequenting the club. Located inside the Planet Hollywood Hotel, the nightclub has everything you’d expect from a Miami mainstay club located in Vegas - modern décor, resident DJs like DJ Lil Jon, and booze flowing from the many bars located throughout the club.

#4 Las Vegas Celebrity Hotspot
PURE Nightclub
Caesar’s Palace
Las Vegas, NV 89101

PURE, located in the über-famous Caesars Palace, is a monster of a club. It’s owned by Shaquille O'Neal, Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf and Celine Dion, and resident DJs have included DJ AM, so don’t be surprised if you rub shoulders with their celeb friends. This month, the Pussycat Dolls and Brooke Hogan will be hosting parties, and in the past Big Boi and rock band Puddle of Mudd have performed. This is the place to be fashionable, but not fashionably late. Admission skyrockets after midnight, and the place gets so crowded you might not be guaranteed an entrance, unless you’re part of a celebs entourage entering the hotspot.

#3 Las Vegas Celebrity Hotspot
JET Nightclub
Mirage Resort & Casino
Las Vegas, NV 89109

Remember back in 2005 when everywhere you went you would hear the song “Yeah”? Well, those days are gone, but if you still want to run into Usher and Ludacris, head over to JET at The Mirage. The hotel is known as the “father of the Vegas strip”, and it houses such year-long shows as Cirque du Soleil’s Beatles-inspired “Love”, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that one of Vegas’ best clubs is located in The Mirage.  The laid-back environment is a stark contrast to the otherwise lavish hotel, but don’t be fooled – celebrities such as Paris Hilton and the artist formerly known as Puff Daddy have also been known to pop in, so you can bet JET is one of the best celeb-spotting nightclubs in Vegas.

#2 Las Vegas Celebrity Hotspot
LAVO
3325 Las Vegas Blvd.
Las Vegas, NV 89109

Lately, Joaquin Phoenix has been, well, interesting, to say the least. If you caught the YouTube video where he infamously fell off the stage, then you saw his Vegas debut at LAVO. Located inside the Palazzo Hotel and Casino, LAVO Restaurant and Nightclub is not one of the mega-clubs that Vegas is known for, but it makes up for its small size with its theme. It’s decorated to look like a Roman bathhouse, with most of the decorations brought in from around the Mediterranean, but with a modern feel. Needless to say, you won’t find any togas here – unless you want to wear one – but you will find all of the indulgences that Vegas is known for.

#1 Las Vegas Celebrity Hotspot
LAX
Luxor Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV 89109

Even though Christina Aguilera as a part-owner and Britney Spears as the host of the grand opening, LAX is sure to attract more than just teen pop stars from the 90s. LAX was developed by the same team as PURE nightclub, and since its opening in 2007, it’s quickly rising to become the big thing in Vegas. Located inside of the Luxor, its been the place to see artists like Fat Joe and The Game perform, with DJ AM being one of the resident DJs, and if you’re looking to spot celebrities, perennial badass Dave Navarro and, well, Carrot Top, both frequent the venue.
