Last week we mentioned that The Joint was having their opening weekend with The Killers set to break in the stage. However, we also mentioned that there was a very special performance by a Beatle, and we sure as hell weren’t talking about the bug. After an extremely anticipated performance as day ones headliner at the Coachella Music Festival, Paul McCartney made his way down to Sin City to rock out in front of thousands at Hard Rock’s all-new live music venue, The Joint.
Tickets for this event happened to go on sale last Valentine’s Day, and Sir Paul set a record by selling out the house in seven seconds! When these pricey tickets went on sale, they started up at $195 and ranged up to $700 for suites, but once they got in the hands of the scalpers, they made their way up to the thousands for tickets. Not a bad opening weekend for them.
