guestofaguest Rocks Out with Katy Perry and GenART

This week we had more than enough stimulation from parties and events throughout the city. Here are some of our biggest nightlife stories from the week:

Katy Perry rocked Hiro Ballroom at Paper Magazine’s Beautiful People Party on Thursday night.  She was so good that over 4,000 people tried to get in, leaving the Magazine’s own editor, Peter Davis, along with Mick Rock out on the curb.

Steve Lewis has been at BlackBook Magazine for a year.  To celebrate, there was a huge party at Greenhouse for all of his readers and friends. He DJ'd part of it, of course.

Just when we thought it’d be YEARS before we’d see another club opening up in this recession, we finally get the full story about PM’s resurrection in Meatpacking (50 Gansevoort), a rumor we’ve been hearing for weeks. It’s happening.  Read up on the facts here.

GenART took the city by storm last week.  There were movies and parties galore, but one of our most favorites was the one that ended it all.

See you next week!
