There’s nothing like a fashion week. An amazing amount of high-end clothing on some of the best-looking women in the world. The crowd that attends these places can either be some of the most interesting people in the world, but at the same time some of the snobbiest bastards in the business. Then there’s those few who sneak in just to catch a glimpse and enjoy the open bar. But while Manhattan rules the real fashion week, this weekend is all about another borough, as Brooklyn Fashion Weekend begins tomorrow.
Quite possibly one of the trendiest cities in America, Brooklyn’s Fashion Weekend will highlight the talents of designers such as Esther Nash, To-Nya Ton-Nu and To-Tam Ton-Nu of Sachika. But the setting for the events this weekend aren’t in Williamsburg, you’ll have to make a bit of a longer trek to get there as it’s in Fort Greene. However, there is shuttle service from the train station, so no worries about the walk about the near one-hour hike.
