After spending some time at Austin's SXSW series, it was back to NYC and back to business. Here are some of the top night life stories that caught our attention...
We couldn't help ourselves from covering The Wrestler's Mickey Rourke and his quest to take over NYC nightlife these past weeks. He's been ripping up the town at 1 Oak, Ciprianis and others, and he has more friends at the door than Bono. Our "Six Degrees of Mickey Rourke: A Doorman Case Study" gave a recap on the doorman, the clubs they work at, and they parts they have played in Mickey's movie. [

Tuesday was St. Patrick's day and that means one thing: Patrick McMullan's Annual St. Patty's day party takes over our city. This year the party was ironically thrown at "Greenhouse" where every club kid in town showed up dressed to the nines in THEIR finest greens. [

Finally, we stopped by the live acoustic set going on at Rose Bar with Evan Dando and Gibby Haynes. Nur Khan's live music sets are becoming more popular and bigger favorites of ours. Big names included Clive Owen and Zelda Kaplan. [

With no where for temperatures to go but up, we are anxiously waiting the arrival of spring and the onset of summer. See you next week!
