We’re extremely sad to say that Pawn Shop Miami has finally reached its very bitter end. There’s been talks about Pawn Shop shutting down for nearly a year now, with their struggling parties and lack of interested by many promoters, but this week the only things that remains from the extremely stylish and alternative venue is rubble. Many great parties were held at Pawn Shop, including performances by The Bravery, and DJ sets by some of the best around the world including Richie Hawtin, Danny Tenagliam, and Matthew Dear.
It’s gonna be really hard for the locals to pass by this space and see the rubble, considering the hundreds of good times that have been had there, but I guess that all good things must truly come to an end. There’s no word as to whether something else will take its place, but there’s a good chance that it’ll turn into extra parking for the concert hall nearby.
