We are coasting into March, and, with Mardi Gras behind us, we are one week closer to spring. And, albeit the growing recession, our top nightlife specialists all agree on one thing: NYC nightlife is always best when the economy is in the hole.  According to them, we are in the midst of NYC pre-90's, pre-Bloomberg.  We don't know whether to be scared, or to hold on for the ride...

One things for sure, right now, the real winners seem to be the promoters. The few people who can actually "afford" to be popping bottles as of late in our city's top night clubs are the same ilk who never had to pay in the first place-the promoters, wrangles and their captives girls.
