It's 3AM and you're leaving the bar, the club, the venue... wherever it is that you are, you're leaving tired, a bit tipsy, and definitely with your stomach asking for a little love. As the neon signs of the hole-in-the-wall food spots flicker and beg for attention as drivers pass by, only signs with golden arches, florescent bells and girl's in pigtails get the attention as their drive-thru lines snake out into the street.

As always, Clubplanet's here for the people, and we've decided to compile a list of the top late night eateries for all the night owls. From burgers to pizza and pasta to breakfast, we've covered just about any craving you can have in the wee hours of the morning.

La SandwicherieLa Sandwicherie
Open daily until 5AM
229 14th Street Miami Beach
305.532.8934

Nine times out of ten, if there aren’t any leftovers ready to go in the fridge, after a long night of debauchery the key snack is a sandwich. But who wants to make a sandwich after 7 shots of Jäger? Too much time and too much patience is needed. What ends up happening basically looks like slop between two slices of moldy bread (anything tastes good when you’re drunk). Everyone knows damn well that Subway or Quiznos isn’t open. But luckily the good people at La Sandwicherie are open until 5AM. With fillings ranging from Paté to Camembert, any sandwich on the menu will make for a pleasant and sobering experience. Picture this, roast beef, prosciutto and salami provolone stacked inside of a warm croissant. Doesn’t get any better than this.

News Café
Open 24 hours
800 Ocean Drive Miami Beach
305.538.6397

A staple in South Beach, Ocean Drive’s News Café is also open at any hour of the day. This is the perfect location for anyone crawling up and down the beach after a long night out. They offer an insane variety here, basically like a Cheesecake Factory without the commercial feel. Coming back from a night out and wanting a burger? How about pizza? Breakfast? The New Café has just about everything that anyone is craving. From pasta to Middle Eastern dishes, everyone’s cravings will be satisfied. Plus, you have to love a place that offers breakfast 24-hours a day. Full after a late night meal with a date at the Café? Take a stroll on the beach while it settles. It’s only just over 100 yards away.

David's CafeDavid's Café Cuban Cuisine
Open 24 Hours
1654 Meridian Avenue
305.672.8707
It’s 4AM, everyone’s leaving the club, and the lines at all of the seemingly open fast food places seem to be growing by the minute, not an attractive site for anyone that's ready to ravage anything edible thrown at them. A lot of times people wish that their mothers or grandmothers were waiting for them at home with a full-on hearty meal. The chances of that happening are slim. Fortunately for us, there’s David’s Café at SoBe. Open at any hour of the day, David’s is a true late night bite spot featuring a 24-hour menu that features Churrasco, Bistec Milanesa and some of the best tostones you can find in the city. If a real meal is what you want at the starting hours of the morning, than this is the place.

La Caretta
Open Daily until 2AM
3632 SW 8th Street
305.444.7501

If there was a place to compete against David’s cuisine then here it is. For those of you who leave a bit early from your respective hideouts and are craving a bit of Cuban cuisine, La Caretta will be there to fill anyone up to the brink of exhaustion. A casual Versailles to the common folk, this place offers up the classic Cuban sandwich, Chicken Breast á la Milanesa and breaded beef-steak all accompanied with sides to cure any hunger or drunken feelings. There are nine locations around the city, so there’s bound to be one near you. Come prepared, because there’s always a cast of characters about at any one of their venues.

T-Mex
Open until 5 a.m. Sun-Thurs and until 6 a.m. on Fri-Sat.
235 14th St. Miami Beach

Its been said that a tiny piece of your soul gets sucked out because of all the time that’s wasted in line at a Taco Bell at about 3AM. Let’s face it, waiting in line at a drive-thru for nearly an hour isn’t worth it, especially at the time of day where nodding off behind the wheel is the norm. Rather than waiting for the grade E meat that’s found in nearly everything on the menu, there’s T-Mex, offering up fresh Mexican at the latest hours of the day. Why wait hours for a reheated burrito when you have fresh chicken and tortillas waiting at T-Mex. Word to the wise, check out Club Deuce directly across the street, Miami’s true hole in the wall.

Mao
Open Until 1AM Daily, 5AM Fri. and Sat.
8438 SW 40th St Miami
(305) 551-0506

There’s nothing like a good arepa at 4AM. While most fast food places are stocked with drunkards beating down the drive-through windows, Mao gives everyone a taste of fast food, Columbian style. Offering up arepas, hot dogs, and hamburgers prepared in their native fashion ($5 burgers feature a slice of ham, Swiss cheese, mayo and some strange looking but delicious sauces). The Super Perros (Super Dogs) are any drunk animals dream; foot long hot dogs covered with all kinds of greatness at an astonishing $4. Located at the Little Bird Shopping Center, this cheap greasy gem is becoming a favorite to all the night owls in the area.

Pizza RusticaPizza Rustica
Open daily until 6AM
863 Washington Avenue Miami Beach
305.674.8244

A favorite to any of the UM kids, or anyone in the Gables at that, this fine establishment has been providing drunk undergrads coming back from the Beach or downtown with some of the finest pies in the city. The majority of hungry fools also tend to order more than they can handle, that with the combination of the size of the pies, always leaves the possibility of a great morning hangover snack. There’s never a ready-to-go pizza waiting around for someone to buy, everything’s freshly prepared as you order it. Around since 1970, this old school pizza joint just added a serious and much needed characteristic to its business, they are now accepting credit cards! No more extra trips to the ATM, just take out the plastic and take care of business.

Los Perros
Open Mon.-Wed. until 3AM Thu.-Sun. until 6AM
13313 SW 42nd St.
305.229.9906
If there’s any place out there to give Mao a run for their money, it’s Los Perros. Not only do they offer up arepas, hot dogs, and burgers (served up the Columbian way as well), but they’re also open an hour later and have two additional locations. Started up by Carlos Lozano in 1999, Los Perros was an idea thought up and created for the purpose of the late night eaters winding down from hours of drinking and dancing. Offering up a solid and affordable menu, another great characteristic that each venue offers is their festive atmosphere and music, making it an easier transition for those who don’t want to crash and burn into an arepa.

Big Pink
Open until 5 a.m. on Fri-Sat and until 2 a.m. on Thurs-Sun.
157 Collins Ave, Miami Beach
305.532.4700
Yet another place that should be kneeled down to for offering breakfast at any time of the day, Big Pink is kinda hard to miss. Located on the quieter side of the beach, the large pink building is an easy target, even for the blurry eyes of 4AM. The menu has about as much variety as the kama sutra, offering up everything from pizza to wraps and even the infamous Big Pink TV dinners. Best part about it is, there’s a full-bar inside, meaning you can enjoy an omlette with a nice whiskey on the rocks…trust me, it works.

New York Pizza Roma
Until 4 a.m. Sun-Wed. and 10 a.m. 6 a.m. Thur.-Sat.
2985 McFarlane Road Coconut Grove
(305) 476-6018

There can’t be a list compiled of the top late night bites without showing some love to the Grove. Right on the corner of McFarlane and Grand Ave. there’s a haven of pizza that’s been catering to the drunken masses of college kids for years. New York Pizza Roma offers up one of the best and biggest slices you can find in the city. Although the price can be a little un-enticing, each sliver costing nearly $4, every single bite makes one second guess themselves and approach the counter for round two. Let it be known here, this is arguably the best slice of pizza you can find in the city.
