Right in the heart of Miami’s Design District is the not-so-hidden gem of Domo Japones, a Japanese bistro that prides itself in keeping cutting edge, much like its surrounding neighbors. The restaurant is praised for its organic and innovative dishes, but its cocktails are just as tantalizing.

With the scorching hot summer of South Florida, the CQ Float is the perfect drink to feel refreshed and immediately pampered. The combination of Elderflower liquor and a little bubbly make for a light and fresh aperitif. Staying true to Domo’s style of spicing up the traditional, Bar Chef Elad Zvi added the “float” element by adding cucumber foam. The result is a clean and aromatic summer cocktail that according to Zvi “the open-minded and appreciators of good food and spirits will like.”

CQ Float Recipe

1 1/2 oz of St Germain Elderflower liqueur
3 oz of champagne (or bubbly wine)
1 oz top with aromat cucumber foam

Stir ice, Elderflower liqueur, and champagne to get cold (do not shake) and finish by adding the final touch of cucumber foam.
