Cocktail of the Week: Van Dyke's Mango Cosmo

Walking down Miami's Lincoln Road can be a lot to take in. Lined with dozens of restaurants, bars and shops, interesting characters passing by and hosts doing whatever they can to get your attention and fill another table in their place. However, there’s one place that visitors look for. One place that’s a must-see on every Miami guide: Van Dykes Café.

Although one of the most appealing things about the restaurant is its history, what’s even more attracting is the bar itself. Having a sleek and traditional wood design and shine, the friendly bartenders are always mixing things up with their signature drinks. One tropical staple is the Mango Cosmo. Deliciously chilled and fruity, this is a drink that anyone can make after a quick stop at the grocery and liquor store. Here’s the breakdown:

Mango Cosmo Recipe:

-Citrus Vodka
-Triple Sec
-Mango Puree
-Cranberry Juice
-Rose’s Lime Juice

There’s no tricky pouring or measurement method, it’s all about how much you like each ingredient.
They each compliment each other and quench your thirst after a long day in South Beach.

Men, don’t be ashamed of holding one of these pink gems in your hand. If anything, the ladies will pass by and ask what it is. Perfect conversation starter.
