[ Irina, Chow Bar NYC ]

Clubplanet: What’s your day job?

Irina: Public Relations

CP: Can you give me the rundown on your outfit?

Irina: Black wrap-dress, navy beads and honey-golden heels by some random Spanish designer.

CP: What makes you like a particular accessory or piece of clothing?

Irina: As cheesy and typical as it sounds, I do really love finding something that looks original. I like adding a little spice to any outfit. If I am wearing something a little more subdued or conservative I try to add a splash of color or some funky accessory. Hats are also awesome, and make any sexy skin-revealing outfit a little more balanced.

CP: Favorite stores?

Irina: Bendels makes me giddy because it’s so pretty.

CP: Any favorite trends or future trend predictions?

Irina: I just want them to bring back the skinny jean. I think we’re also going to see a lot more girls in this city with the bohemian straight-across-the-forehead headband.

CP: What trend do you wish would die already?

Irina: Sequins.

CP: Hear any good pick-up lines?

Irina: I was at a Beatles coverband concert at this bar called BeBop in Florence and a guy I was dancing with says to me, “I don’t know much about the Beatles, but I sure want to hold your hand.” I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry (laughing).

CP: Any spot where you love the patrons’ styles?

Irina: The Box… people wear really wacky things, but totally rock them.

CP: Favorite DJ or band?

Irina: Lately I’m really feeling Mugwump. They’re a local New York band and I saw them at Crash Mansion a while ago. They got the entire place dancing.

CP: Fill in the blank: If you weren’t here, you’d be…

Irina: …on a Tuscan farm.
