If someone asked you to check out the bathtub girls on a Saturday night, would you think:
A. This is going to be messy, it’ll cost $45 for 15 minutes, and has nothing to do with pride or decency.
B. Geez, I hope they aren’t really bathtub shaped…
C. I’m picturing gold tubs brimming with silky, tanned girls covered in soft, pink flower petals.
If you picked C, you’d not only be right, you’d be pretty damn lucky. Before you go scope out the über-hot nightclub,
Tao, and

it’s even hotter feature, the bathtub girls, take a moment to meet Gina Deziree. This Hawaiian native puts her modeling skills to good use working as a sizzling up bathtubs at one of Vegas’ top hotspots.
Clubplanet: Bathtub modeling isn’t something you hear about all that often, how did you end up becoming a pro?Gina: The first time I worked at Tao, it was only supposed to be a one-time thing, just for the grand opening. But it was so much fun and so off the wall and after that first week, they wanted to bring us back and make it a regular thing.
CP: So how do you define this ‘regular thing?’ What would you call it your job?
Gina: They call us atmosphere. We are not interactive with the crowd. We are kind of like moving artwork, off in our own little worlds.
CP: Do you ever get to leave your own little worlds and enjoy the party around you? Gina: During our shifts we can’t interact with the crowd, we can move along with the music but we can’t do much. We do get breaks and on our 30-minute breaks, we get to enjoy the club, maybe have a couple of cocktails—as long as it’s nothing crazy.
CP: How does sitting in a bathtub, seemingly naked, week after week affect your dating life?Gina: You know guys: they get insecure and you have fights. It’s hard to have a boyfriend unless they’re in the business and really understand it. Right now, dating is not a huge priority for me at all. I am in no rush so I just focus on working.
CP: I can you get some strange offers for modeling gigs—have you been asked to do any nude modeling? Gina: I’ve had opportunities to do the little editions of Playboy, but I don’t want to go in that direction. I know it has helped a lot of models catapult their career, but right now, I feel it isn’t necessary.
CP: I’m sure there are plenty of Tao regulars who will be sad to hear that. Could you throw them a bone and offer up an embarrassing story? Gina: Oh yes, I’ve got one. I was working with two girls in the upstairs tub, which is one huge tub on a stage in the center of the club. The bottoms of our costumes are kind of like a nude thong but the strings of it are like fishing line so it looks like your naked, but you’re not. Someone in wardrobe had used tape to hold the strings together, so as I brushed against it, the strings snapped. The other girls made this weird little fort with their robes to cover me as I got out of the tub. The problem is I was holding the thong between my legs and I didn’t want everyone to see it drop to the floor when I got out of the tub. Somehow I got out of the tub while the other girl covered me from the front. I wrapped myself in a towel, grabbed the panties and got out of there.
