So you and your buddies scored some tix to the Super Bowl, rented that 4-room suite, but still have no idea what to do between your hotel and your seats?  We’ve got the lowdown on the parties—official, unofficial, open to the public, guarded like Guantanamo—for you to crash this year in AZ.

NFL Experience
Jan 26-27, 31, Feb 1-2
University of Phoenix Stadium Parking Lot

Sample over 50 interactive games, peruse countless collectibles and merchandise, and train like an NFL player with actual drills.  It’s fun for the whole family, if you’re one of the foolish saps that happens to bring them along.

Big Ticket Gala
Wed, Jan 30
Phoenician Resort

The Host Committee reeled in Jay Leno to headline their fancy schmancy black-tie gala with ESPN anchor Chris Berman playing emcee.  Expect loads o’ football memorabilia and autographed goodies to be auctioned off to the highest bidding Hall of Famers.
For more info visit the Official Site of the 2008 Super Bowl.

944 Super Village
Thu-Sun, Jan 31-Feb 3
Scottsdale Waterfront at Stetson Canal

The Scottsdale Waterfront will morph into PGA/Super Bowl party headquarters with a mini Las Vegas Strip, fashion shows, live music, DJs, sports celebrity meet n’ greets and whatever else you can pack into a 4 acres of tented wonderland.
Click for more information on 944 Game Magazine.

Leather & Laces Charity Event
Fri, Feb 1
Galleria Corporate Center

Leather, lace and Carmen Electra.  Enough said.

Coors Light Craftsman Court Block Party
Fri-Sat, Feb 1-2
Old Town Scottsdale

Coors Light takes over the streets with performances by Boogie Nights and Otis Day and the Knights (yup, the band from Animal House). Relive your frat boy fantasies with included admission to local haunts Dos Gringos, Acme and Upper Deck.

Bud Bowl
Fri-Sat, Feb 1-2
Axis/Radius

Leave it to the Super Bowl to bring out the America’s beer and music MVPs.  Budweiser is flexing some serious muscle with Snoop Dogg and Kid Rock booked for their 2-day debauchery fest.

Maxim’s Super Bowl Party
Sat, Feb 2
Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort

The man’s man’s magazine is throwing their own shindig Saturday night.  Although no details have been released, this has gotta be good.

Playboy Super Bowl Party
Sat, Feb 2
Playboy Party Grotto

No headliner or host named, but if it’s as long as it’s Playboy on the bill, you know what to expect.

Sports Illustrated Party
Sat, Feb 2
Barcelona (Scottsdale)

Who cares if you cancelled your SI subscription back in ’01?  Or if the swimsuit issue is the only time you buy it.  This party will most likely host a who’s who of the NFL, so grab your tickets early.

Taste of the NFL
Sat, Feb 2
Phoenix Convention Center
At $500 a plate, this isn’t for the faint of hunger, or income. Top chefs are clamoring from each of the 31 NFL cities to stuff your lazy, gluttonous couch potato butt full of the best gourmet frito-pies and 3-layer bean dip you’ve ever belched.

ESPN The Magazine Party
Sat, Feb 2
Scottsdale Civic Center Mall

P Diddy Super Bowl Party
Sun, Feb 3
Glendale Civic Center
Oh Diddy.  What would the Super Bowl be without you trying to steal the limelight?  No word on whether this is a white party, but maybe you wanna break out those linen pants and/or leisure suit just in case.

Lingerie Bowl
Sun, Feb 3
Location TBD
A football game is no excuse to cut off your hourly intake of T&A. The Super Bowl included.  Broadcast during halftime, the Lingerie Bowl is the crowning moment of the Lingerie Football League (LFL). Watch busty, lacey gals toss around the pigskin or throwdown in the Ultimate Catfight, or be a pussy and watch Tom Petty’s show. Your call.
