Ahhh…. it’s that time of year again, when models (even more than usual) are traipsing about the streets and the beautiful people are clamoring to gain entrance into the slickest clubs.  You guessed it, Fashion Week is just around the corner, and you can almost smell the Diana B. products on the gorgeous creatures that are preparing to enter our fair city.  Lucky for you, we’ve got the skinny on the hottest clubs committing the most sinful activities.

Outrageous Dens of Desire
Bungalow 8 has established itself as a staple in the Manhattan nightlife scene that is dripping with Hollywood glamour.  Much like the Zac Posen collection, this venue is highly sought after, and it is extremely difficult to gain entrance.  However, for those who are able to shed their mere mortal status and actually get in, you are guaranteed a fabulous evening with the haute monde.  This is the stuff dreams are made of, and if you can get in, Bungalow 8 is truly Fashion Week personified.

Pink Elephant is reminiscent of beauties sporting Calvin Klein on the catwalk.  Much like CK designer duds, this venue is effortlessly cool.  The attention to detail is this space is amazing – the sound setup was designed by a former NASA engineer, and there are pheromones pumped into the air.  Talk about aromatherapy gone wild!  For those who indulge in the swankiest of behavior, definitely order bottle service.  Sparklers are attached to champagne bottles, and upon delivery, the crowd of revelers claps as if they are attending a runway show.

Scenester Stars
There is no getting around it, if you want to dance the night away in a beyond-gorgeous club and hang out with celebrities galore, then Marquee is your club of choice.  Much like a Marc Jacobs collection, everybody here looks good – so make sure you dress the part.  The setting is absolutely stunning, and this place just oozes fashion.

Room Service is a newcomer that has hit the New York nightlife scene with a vengeance.  Much like the Maticevski collection, this hotspot does the unexpected.  The staff at Room Service caters to your every whim.  If you book a private room, you will be pampered with your own mixologist, masseuse, and well, pretty much anything you can dream up.  Seriously, just ring up the concierge, and if it is at all humanly possible (or even if it is not) they will find a way to make it happen.

Hardcore Haunts
We just love when rock n’ roll meets fashion, and nowhere in Manhattan is this trend more prevalent than R Bar.  The Bowery is absolutely slamming with this glam-rock, 1980’s inspired bar.  Much like the Heatherette collection, R Bar is raw, edgy, and fun.  The leather and velvet motif creates a funky vibe that is heating up the Lower East Side party scene.

With a pad that is reminiscent of Andy Warhol’s famous art loft, 205 is full of surprises.  Has there ever been a more perfect blending of fashion, art, and nightlife?  We think not.  Everything complements each other, and honestly we aren’t quite sure what came first - the nightlife or the fashion.  But who cares?  Much like the Betsey Johnson collection, 205 favors hipsters, but it attracts everyone.  The furniture held together by tape (no, you aren’t misreading), mix of disco and rock music, and Craigslist covered basement speaks to fashionistas as well as hard rockers.

Fashion Week has a strong influence on the nightlife industry, and the venues we attend are now as beautiful as the threads we wear.  Whether you want the rock n’ roll lifestyle or a Sex in the City inspired club, now you won’t have any problems finding the fabulous life.

ignorance
I'll admit it. There's no way I'd be able to tell a Zac Posen from a Heatherette. Does that make me a bad person?

Nice! Liked the way she compared the clubs to the designers. Can't wait to hit up some of these spots.
