The 19th edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the premiere European dance music conference, will take place from October 15th-19th, 2014. Of the multiple streams, the first set of speakers have been announced for ADE Green, ADE Next, ADE University, and Hard Dance Event (HDE).

Taking place at a new location, the Brakke Grond, ADE Green (which is dedicated to sustainability) will feature presentations by Michael Lang, producer and co-creator of the original Woodstock, and superstar DJ Nicky Romero.

On Saturday, the ADE opens up the Felix Meritis for ADE Next to help rising talent via seminars and a Q&A with global superstar Martin Garrix ("Animals") and Oliver Heldens ("Gecko / Overdrive").

ADE University educates Dutch students and rising industry people and will showcase a Q&A with Julien Mitelberg, the CEO of concert discovery app Bandsintown.

Celebrating its fifth year, the Hard Dance Event brings Noisecontrollers and Minus Militia to De Melkweg.  For more information about the ADE, go to their website.

Please note that there are two separate tracks - the daytime conference for industry people and the nighttime festival which will feature more than 300 events in 80 clubs and venues showcasing more than 2000 DJs over 5 days.  If you plan to attend, you are strongly urged to register in advance as this event sells out each year.
