Interscope Launches Dance Music Label With Insomniac

As if Nocturnal Wonderland, Electric Forest, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas (the largest electronic music festival in the world) amongst the dozens of events thrown annually weren't enough, Insomniac founder and CEO, Pasquale Rotella has partnered up with Interscope Geffen A&M to launch Insomniac Records, a brand new record label focusing on electronic dance music.

Pairing two of the top companies in their respective fields, Insomniac Records looks to combine the music business knowledge of Interscope with over 20 years of expertise Insomniac has producing some of the largest dance music events in the world.

“The Interscope team has an unparalleled track record of success,” said Pasquale Rotella, founder and CEO of Insomniac. “I believe that with our combined efforts, Insomniac Records is going to launch the careers of undiscovered artists while also attracting established producers allowing them to create music that the fans will love.”

The label's first release will be a single from Russian producer Arty, with a full length album coming later this year. Arty shared a preview of his forthcoming single “Up All Night” on SoundCloud, which you can listen to below.

We are very interested to see how this partnership develops and what type of talent the label will show the world.
