BREAKING NEWS: Peaches Geldof Dead, Aged 25

British journalist, television presenter and model, Peaches Geldof, has died aged 25.

The second daughter of musician Bob Geldof and Paula Yates was found in her home in Kent, just outside London, UK.

In a statement from the Geldof family, her father said, "We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us." He goes on to say, "What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?"

Police report that they were called to do a "welfare check" on a woman at an address near Wrotham, Kent on Monday afternoon. There have been no cause of death. In a statement, Kent police said, "At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and sudden."

The writer and presenter leave behind a husband, Thomas Cohen, and two sons, Astala, one, and Phaedra, who will turn one on 24 April.

"My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons," said Cohen in a statement. "I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts everyday. We shall love her forever."

Peaches' mother, Paula Yates, died in 2000 after suffering a fatal drug overdose. Only 11 at the time, Peaches was thrown into the media spotlight and remained there ever since. She began her career writing for Elle magazine at age 15 and was known for speaking her mind on current events in the world of entertainment and music. This lead to her following a career in journalism, where she was a contributor to the Guardian and Telegraph newspapers. As well as being a well respected writer, Peaches was also known for being a TV personality in the UK. She presented television shows including OMG! With Peaches Geldof and was a regular face on talk shows and panels. As well as the aforementioned, Peaches also worked as a model.

In addition to her husband, sons and father, she also leaves behind sisters, Fifi Trixibelle, and Pixie, as well as half-sister, Tiger Lily Hutchence Geldof.

Her last tweet was a picture of her as a baby in her mothers arms.
