Weekend Forecast: Gibbzmatik Takes On NYC

Weekend Forecast: Gibbzmatik Takes On NYC

This Friday night, Lowtemp label mates GiBBZ and Gramatik are making their mutual love affair with cross-pollinating genres - funkified dubstep, soul and every jam in between - official with their world premiere union as ‘Gibbzmatik’ at New York City's Webster Hall. The show, originally scheduled for Thursday at SRB Brooklyn, has been moved to Webster Hall Friday night due to a overwhelming demand to see the eclectic, super sassy duo perform together for the first time ever. All tickets for the March 20th SRB show will be honored on March 21st at Webster Hall.

GiBBZ’s pipes have graced label head Gramatik’s The Age of Reason, on “Get a Grip” as well as Exmag’s debut album Proportions on the tracks “We Used to Dream,” and “Tilt Mode”. With Gramatik producing and GiBBZ on vocals and guitar, Gibbzmatik will be performing tracks fresh off both of their latest albums – Gramatik's The Age of Reason and GiBBZ’s debut EP ‘Who Gibbz A F#@$?’, which dropped just last week.

As an extra special delight, the whole Lowtemp crew including Orlando Napier, iLLUMNTR, BRANX, and ExMag, will be performing as well. With two sold-out back-to-back shows in NYC at Best Buy Theater and Output this past January; this is a show not to be missed.
