Insomniac Events Announces Hardstyle Basscon Massive on March 29

It's loud. It's fast. It's fierce and it's hard. It's a new and exciting sound, and If you are a hardstyle virgin, its face-pounding, heel-stomping kick drums will make you question your sanity.

Born in Amsterdam, the hardstyle movement has finally hit Stateside, thirteen years later. Like dubstep and trap, hardstyle is having a moment. After a resurgence in popularity over the past year, with news like Ultra Music signing one of hardstyle’s most prominent producers, Headhunterz, DJs like Diplo and Steve Aoki dabbling with the musical diversity of hard dance, hard trance making a comeback and events popping up like The Sound of Q-Dance. Insomniac devoted an entire stage to hard dance for the first-ever American hardstyle stage at Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas 2013.

This stage was part of Insomniac's new venture dedicated to all hard music genres: Basscon. Basscon reps the harder genres of dance music including hard trance, hard techno, hard house, hardstyle, and hardcore, bringing top notch artists from all over the the world to create a new experience of hard-hitting beats and heavy bass. Without a doubt, the Basscon stage at EDC Vegas pushed the limits of sound, energy and hard dance.

Hard dance lovers, prepare your senses for all out destruction because it's going to be a hell of a ride. Insomniac Events is going back the basics with smaller, more intimate events. Basscon Massive is a hard dance event, focusing on the harder styles of dance music.  It’s taking place on Saturday, March 29th, 2014 at the NOS Events Center in San Bernadino California. It's about time; bring the noise!
